This wonderful set includes an ark measuring 8" by 5" by 5", a removable ramp, 60 animals (30 pairs) and Noah and his wife.  The front of the cabin roof opens and all the animals fit inside!  Two birds can even hold onto the roof during the voyage.  This is a mini ark, and the largest animals measures 2" tall.  This ark is handmade by a skilled German craftsman who now resides in the USA.  He uses 16 different types of wood in this set and includes a letter detailing which kinds of wood was used for each animal.  The wood is rubbed with certified non-toxic mineral oil to preserve the wood. This set makes a wonderful gift for a collector or a toy for a child at least 3-4 years old who does not put toys in his/her mouth.  Small animals are a choking hazard.  This is an heirloom quality toy which will be enjoyed for years and years.  This item only includes the ark, the animals and people.  It does not come with the ramp upon which it is displayed.  USA.
