This adorable Felt Squirrel Ornament has been busy gathering nuts and is holding the prize:  a white nut covered with gold beads.  He is 3 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide, made of wool felt with gold thread embroidered on his tail and black beads for eyes.  Hang him from his golden cord on a holiday tree, in a window, or in the car.  This piece was handcrafted in Central Asia in workshops founded and run by women entrepreneurs, using all natural materials and age-old traditional felting methods first developed by Kyrgyz nomad to make their yurts and decorative rugs.  Made in Kyrgyzstan.
