9/13/16 We have 1 Sandwich Size Baggie in Green and White Stripes.
Lunchskins are wonderful Reusable Baggies! These unique, high-quality bags will save hundreds of plastic bags from entering the landfill. They were designed by Moms who were shocked at the statistics for the number of bags that are used and thrown away each day by school children. They have children and wanted a safe, reusable alternative to the baggie. We love the results of their work!
Lunchskins Baggies are designed in the USA, some were sewn in the US, some were sewn in China. These baggies were created using certified food-safe fabric. It is a thick cotton fabric that is coated with a food-safe polyurethane liner. This very thin layer of polyurethane has been tested and found not to migrate into food or leave a "plastic" odor behind, thus meeting EU requirements for food contact. This unique high-quality fabric is manufactured in Europe by a family-owned business and has been used for many years in bakeries and restaurants. Additionally, LunchSkins are grease-proof and moisture proof making them ideal for messy sandwiches and snacks. This fabric is dishwasher-safe and quick-drying. Lunchskins are lead-free, bpa-free and phthalate-free. The bag closes with a velcro strip that goes across the 6.5" width of the bag after the flap has been folded over the top.
We carry three sizes, the 6.5" x 6.5" Sandwich size (sold out), the 6.5" x 3" Snack size (sold out), and the Jumbo size 8" x 7". The Sandwich and Snack sizes are available in three different patterns shown in the picture. The Jumbo size has a red circle pattern on it. Each bag has a space on the flap intended for writting the child's name using a Sharpie pen. When you've marked it with their name, it helps to ensure that they will bring it home. If they have dropped it on the floor of their classroom or the soccer field, their teacher, coach or friend will find it and return it to them.
