Each one of the beads in this kit was individually handcut and rolled from recycled magazines by women in Kenya and Uganda.  The beads are then finished with a clear, non-toxic lacquer for a durable, water resistant finish.  This kit contains 75 beads, a silver-plated charm, a silver-plated clasp and glass seed beads and 50 inches of nylon string.  Fair Trade.
