This is a wonderful first brush for your child.  The hairs are soft pig hair that feel oh-so-lovely on the head.  The handle is nicely shaped to feel good in one's hand.  

Once the babies are grown and using other brushes, these brushes are excellent for getting the dust off of geode crystals.  They get into the cracks and crevices beautifully.
