Our Fundana is a scavenger hunt list of activities, particularly appropriate for the Fall, printed onto a large, machine washable, 22x22 inch, 100% cotton bandana. Spread the bandana on the ground. Pick a number. Count clockwise from the Start Square, and find out what the square tells you. Use pebbles or twigs to mark your square as you complete each task. For example: Find an orange leaf, Find a seed that travels on the wind, Find a leaf with an unusual shape, Act Like a squirrel and store food, Name 5 fun things to do in the Fall, Find a tree that won't loose its leaves in the winter, etc. These are fun, simple, and seasonal activities that will encourage your children to explore the yard, nearby forest (or even to pass a few minutes in a parking lot!) in a new way!
